Sciatica is a term used for when the sciatic nerve that runs down the back of the leg is irritated. When this nerve is inflamed it can cause pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling. It can make it hard to perform daily activities and keep you from enjoying life. It is a common misconception that when one has these symptoms that it is actually coming from the leg.

Anyone who knows sciatica, knows misery. Sciatica pain shoots through your leg, sometimes resulting in tingling, weakness, and/or numbness. Often beginning as a result of a herniated disk that is pressing on the sciatic nerve, sciatica pain runs from the lower back, all the way down the back of your legs. In most cases,
